$500K ARR in four months, zero code written 💼

Yatharth Sejpal has never written a line of code. He quit his consulting gig at Mercer in September 2025, vibe-coded a prototype good enough to show executives, then convinced a Georgia Tech PhD he'd met once (while playing poker) to build the real thing for free.
Four months later, KNOWIDEA is at $500K ARR with enterprise clients across mining, manufacturing, and finance.
The product sits at a weird intersection. It's 1) a business intelligence tool fused with 2) a senior consultant, aimed at 60-year-old CEOs rather than the technical buyers every AI startup is chasing. Yatharth's thesis is that the AI layer is already commoditized, so the defensible moat is effectively taste: the judgment of a consultant that's wrapped around the AI layer.
The full interview goes deep on his “sell before you build” playbook, why executives trust legacy firms over startups, and the case against dashboards-and-chatbots AI.

Skip six months of building PDF infrastructure. Use PDF Generator API and ship invoices, contracts, and reports on day one. 📄

PDF Generator API is the embedded document generation layer where founders and SaaS teams build invoices, contracts, reports, shipping labels, and customer statements without writing rendering code or maintaining their own Puppeteer stack.
From customer facing documents to internal workflows, the API gives teams a visual template editor (so your ops team can ship changes), storage that lets every customer own their own templates, and white label branding that keeps the layer fully behind the host product. Electronic invoicing standards supported out of the box: Peppol and X Rechnung.
Join 1,500+ companies already shipping with it. Six million documents flow through the platform every month. ISO 27001, HIPAA, and GDPR compliant by default.
Free 14 day trial, no credit card required.

Bite-sized growth tip 🍪

Pitch ad deals to publications that have never sold them.
David Darmanin and his cofounders built Hotjar to $40M ARR. Part of their early traction came from an overlooked channel: traditional magazines.
David approached publications like Designer Magazine and offered to pay them to email their subscriber list about Hotjar. These magazines had never sold email blasts before. They didn't know what to charge. David got prime access to targeted audiences at bargain prices.
Every valuable audience has gatekeepers who haven't figured out how to monetize access yet. Newsletters, niche forums, industry associations, trade publications. Someone has the list you want and no playbook for selling it.
In other words, the opportunity exists because you're proposing something unfamiliar. By the time a company has standardized pricing, this window closes.

Channing's Tweet Pick 🐦

A phrase I've always liked is "outcome independence": place all your effort and focus on your input without investing too much in the outcomes (except as data for how to iterate).
